Playgroup: MTG Life Counter 1.2.0 now available

Playgroup 1.2.0 is now available on Android, iOS, Windows, Linux and HTML5.

What's new

Undo engine
It's now possible to undo actions, if you make a mistake you can undo the last action quickly via the "undo last action" button or browse to the history list and select an older action to undo. This should help clean up the stats as in previous version you had to do a heal action if you wanted to undo damage.

Improved stat collection

All actions that alter the game state are now recorded and synced online. This will help us add more detailed stats to the games and recreate the entire timeline of a game. The first new features that this enables will show up on the game screen if you sync a game on version 1.2.0.

Improvements for switching out players and picking a starting player

We made it easier to swap people in and out between games, before selecting a deck you will now get a question if you want to join the next game or logout so someone else can take your place. It'a also possible to now decide on a starting player or use the old roulette style randomized picker.

Notable bug fixes

• Time tracking was not always 100% accurate in version under 1.2.0. This version has all time tracking code reworked and should always be accurate.
• Names were not always updated when switching out players, this should now be fixed.
• Fixed an issue where the "Cancel attack" button would not be hidden again.

What's next

The next version of the life counter app will get more quality of life improvements for player selection and switching. As the life counter app gets more stable we will move development work over to the Playgroup.gg website and offer richer features. The upcoming Deck statistics page is one of such features coming next.
