Do I need an account to playtest a deck?
No. Paste a Moxfield or Archidekt deck link on Playgroup and you drop straight into a solo playtest in your browser. Create a free account later if you want to keep your decks and games.
Which deck sites can I import from?
Moxfield and Archidekt. Paste a public deck link from either and Playgroup imports the cards and shuffles up a fresh game. Plain decklist paste needs a free account for now.
Is solo playtesting free?
Yes. Playtesting any Commander (EDH) deck is completely free, with or without an account.
Can I play multiplayer, not just solo?
Yes, with a free account. Solo playtest is the no-account goldfish mode. Create a free account and you can host or join multiplayer Commander games on Playgroup Live, 2 to 6 players per pod, with voice chat.
What can I do in a solo playtest?
Draw your opening hand, mulligan, cast and move cards between zones, tap, add counters, roll dice, and undo. It is a solo goldfish sandbox, no opponents needed.
Does my playtest deck get saved?
If you playtest without an account, nothing is saved and the session is cleared automatically. Create a free account at any time to keep the deck you imported and the games you played.
Can I share a one-click playtest link?
Yes. Every imported deck has a shareable Playtest on Playgroup.gg link. Anyone who opens it jumps straight into a solo playtest of that deck, no account required.
