The next prerelease is for Reality Fracture. Events run September 25 to October 1, 2026 at local game stores, ahead of the October 2 worldwide release.
How does an MTG prerelease work?
A prerelease is a casual sealed event at your local game store during the week before a set releases. Your Prerelease Pack has six Play Boosters, a foil promo card, and a Spindown life counter; you build a 40-card deck from those packs plus basic lands and play a few relaxed rounds. No preparation is needed and new players are welcome.
