Zhalfir MTG release date: when does it come out?

Zhalfir releases on October 1, 2027.

Zhalfir releases on October 1, 2027, giving the restored plane its first standalone Magic set. Announced at MagicCon Amsterdam in July 2026, Wizards bills it as "a land of suns and spirits". Zhalfir was phased back into existence during March of the Machine, replacing New Phyrexia, and this set is the first full visit since.

Mechanics, characters, set codes, and Commander products have not been revealed yet.
