Wakanda
Artifacts and Vibranium tokens. Create indestructible artifact mana with T'Challa, then grow him whenever you cast large artifact spells.
Latveria

Marvel Super Heroes is a full Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond crossover with Marvel, released on June 26, 2026. It is the second major MTG/Marvel crossover, after the 2025 Spider-Man set. The 384-card main set is Standard-legal and introduced three new mechanics, Plan, Power-Up, and Teamwork, explained in the FAQ below. Hero and Villain are mechanically relevant creature subtypes across the set.
Four Commander precons shipped with the set: Avengers Assemble (Jeskai Hero typal and +1/+1 counters), The Fantastic Four (four-color noncreature spells and triggered-ability copying), Wakanda Forever (Selesnya artifacts and Vibranium tokens), and Doom Prevails (Grixis Villains, connive, and life-drain). Each contains 30 new cards and 70 reprints, and the Collector's Editions put every card in surge foil. Every precon below has its full decklist and a one-click Playtest now button that starts a solo game with the deck already imported.
Set codes on Scryfall: MSH (main set, 384 cards) and MSC (Commander precons). The Marvel Source Material bonus sheet of reprints is filed under Scryfall's shared MAR Marvel Universe masterpiece set, which also holds the 2025 Spider-Man source material cards.

Marvel Super Heroes FAQ
When did Marvel Super Heroes release?
Marvel Super Heroes released on June 26, 2026, after prerelease events from June 19 to 25. Scryfall lists MSH for the main set (384 cards) and MSC for the Commander precons, and files the Marvel Source Material bonus sheet of reprints under its shared MAR Marvel Universe set alongside the 2025 Spider-Man source material cards.
What are the four Marvel Super Heroes Commander precons?
Avengers Assemble (Avengers, Jeskai) led by Captain America, Team Leader, with Director Nick Fury as the alternate; The Fantastic Four (Fantastic Four, four-color) led by all four members as foil face commanders, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing; Wakanda Forever (Wakanda, Selesnya) led by T'Challa, the Black Panther, with Shuri, the Black Panther as the alternate; and Doom Prevails (Latveria, Grixis) led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, with Loki, the Deceiver as the alternate.
What new mechanics did Marvel Super Heroes introduce?
Plan is an enchantment subtype that gains plan counters as you take specific in-game actions, then pays off once it reaches a counter threshold. Power-Up is a one-shot activated ability that adds +1/+1 counters plus a bonus, with its cost reduced by the creature's mana value if you use it the turn the creature entered. Teamwork is an optional additional cost on some instants and sorceries: tap untapped creatures with total power at or above the listed number for an upgraded effect.
Which Marvel Super Heroes precon is best for new Commander players?
Avengers Assemble is the most straightforward. Play Heroes, stack +1/+1 counters, and swing. The game plan is linear and the Jeskai color identity gives access to removal, card draw, and protection without complex decision trees.
Can I playtest the Marvel Super Heroes precons before buying?
Yes. Every precon on this page has a one-click Playtest now button. Click it and you land in a fresh solo game in Playgroup Live with the Archidekt decklist already imported.
Are the Marvel Super Heroes Commander cards Standard legal?
Cards in the main MSH set are Standard legal. The Commander-only cards in the MSC precon decks are Commander, Legacy, and Vintage legal but not Standard.
Is Marvel Super Heroes a full Magic set or a Secret Lair?
Marvel Super Heroes is a full Magic: The Gathering expansion, not a Secret Lair drop. It follows the Universes Beyond format: characters, art, and flavor come from the Marvel universe while mechanics and card frames are standard Magic. It is the second Marvel crossover after 2025's Spider-Man set.
What are the Marvel Super Heroes Welcome Decks?
Five learning decks for new players, themed around Black Panther, Iron Man, Black Widow, Spider-Man, and the Hulk. Each holds two 30-card half-decks in different colors that combine into a ready-to-play 60-card deck, with one mythic rare that is new to Magic and only found in the Welcome Decks. Local game stores give them out while supplies last.
