Lorwyn Eclipsed released on January 23, 2026, returning to the original Lorwyn plane under a darker sky. The Commander decks spotlight Elementals, evoke, and -1/-1 counter attrition through the new blight keyword. Two Commander precons shipped alongside the main release.
Dance of the Elements is a five-color Elemental deck built around evoke and copy payoffs. Blight Curse weaponizes blight and -1/-1 counters across a Jund attrition shell. Both face commanders are deep-linked into Playgroup's stats pages, and both precons launch a solo game with one click via the Playtest in Playgroup Live button.

Which Lorwyn Eclipsed precon is best for new Commander players?
Blight Curse is the cleaner introduction. Sacrifice and incremental -1/-1 counter attrition is intuitive, the wincon is obvious, and you don't need to navigate five colors of mana. Dance of the Elements has a higher ceiling but a fiddly mana base.
