Edge of Eternities launched on August 1, 2025, taking Magic into the Blind Eternities and onto unknown planets. The set introduced Spacecraft artifacts, which use station to accumulate charge counters and become artifact creatures at their threshold, plus warp mechanics in the main set. Two Commander precons shipped alongside, each pairing a legendary Spacecraft with a legendary creature commander option.
World Shaper plays a Sothera land-sacrifice and land-recursion plan in Jund colors. Counter Intelligence proliferates and stations counters across artifact threats in Jeskai. Both decks are deep-linked into Playgroup's stats pages, and both precons have a one-click Playtest in Playgroup Live button that drops you straight into a solo game.

What is a Spacecraft and how do you commander with one?
Spacecraft is an artifact subtype from Edge of Eternities. Spacecraft have station: tap another creature you control as a sorcery to put charge counters equal to that creature's power on the Spacecraft. At the listed threshold, it becomes an artifact creature. A legendary Spacecraft can be your commander, but you still cast it from the command zone before stationing it.
Which Edge of Eternities precon is best for new Commander players?
World Shaper is the more beginner-friendly pick. Land sacrifice and recursion is a clean engine, and Hearthhull's land-sacrifice payoff creates obvious play patterns. Counter Intelligence rewards more careful sequencing around proliferate, station thresholds, and charge counters.
